Red Dot & Holographic Sights
Red Dot & Holographic Sights
Red Dots and other Holographic sights provide an excellent alternative to the classic iron sights that come standard on most airsoft rifles. Shop our huge selection of sights designed for pinpoint accuracy and quick target acquisition by providing an illuminated reticle. Many holo sights come in a variety of colors as well such as green and blue in addition to the standard red.
Whether you have an SMG, AEG, or handgun, using a red dot sight can increase your accuracy at close and far range, and give you an upper hand during fast-paced shooting scenarios. The sights can also work well in low lighting situations where using an iron sight is more difficult.

FAQs
Q: How much does an airsoft red dot sight cost?
A: Our store has a variety of airsoft red dot sights and holographic sights. Most sights cost $20-50. The more expensive products have extra features such as a dust cover to protect from scratches and different brightness levels. The airsoft sights are much less expensive than sights used for real weapons which cost around $200.
Q: Which sight will fit my airsoft gun?
A: All of our sights will mount to standard Weaver/Picatinny rails. Red dot sights don't have magnification, so they aren't ideal for sniper rifles, but can be used on most AEGs, sub-machine guns, and pistols.
Q: How durable are red dot sights?
A: Red dot sights are fairly durable. They are sock proof and can handle most airsoft gameplay. They are somewhat water-resistant, but we don't recommend using the sight in the rain for extended periods of time, as water can get into the sight if it's not fully sealed. When you're not using it, you should keep the sight covered to prevent scratches on the lens.
Q: How to adjust a red dot sight?
A: The red dot sights have small adjustment knobs to zero in your sight. You will need a hex key Allen wrench to adjust the sight. When you first get your new sight you can set up a target and use a bipod to keep your airsoft gun steady. Fire off a few shots to ensure your BBs are hitting where the red dot is pointing. If not, you can make some adjustments before using the sight in a game.
Q: How does a red dot sight work?
A: A red dot has a spherical mirror that reflects the light emitted from an LED of its axis focus. That spherical reflector has a special coating that only reflects red light. This prevents other light from disrupting your reticle. To break it down simply an LED shines a beam of light onto a specially coated, slightly angled piece of glass. That glass reflects the light from an LED onto it, creating your reticle. Because eye relief is not a factor, you can install your red dot on the receiver, ahead of the receiver, or way out on the barrel.
Q: Can I use a red dot sight for hunting?
A: Red dots are not nearly as precise as a scope. Part of this has to do with subtension, or the amount of target space the red dot covers. Using a red dot, you hold your head in any position you please, just as long as you can see the dot, put the dot on what you want to hit, and shoot. They also don't blot out the whole world and are easy to see in any kind of light.
